not_a_clotpole: (Trained to Kill Since Birth)
For my quest - which came to me last night. Along with all manner of other...um...things...which weren't unwelcome, except for when Morgana came in to bother me. God, can't a man even mediate and see a vision that's all important in the lines of tradition without being constantly mocked?

So yes, I eventually got around to envisioning my quest, which is admittedly very dangerous (but nothing I can't deal with!), I'm to retrieve the legendary Fisher King's Golden Trident. Now his castle just happens to be in the Perilious Lands, which despite all the stories I'm not convinced they're the most dangerous lands in Albion. I mean...if anything I won't need to worry about Camelot's enemies because as certain people aren't shy of telling me only idiots venture into the Perilious Lands.

I have to admit though, I'm rather touched by Merlin's concern...I really think, that he really thinks he can help me. Which is you know...hilarious, but well, rather nice seeing as all my previous servants couldn't wait to see the back of me (I'm not oblivious, you know).

But tomorrow morning I'm heading out and I'll return with the trident in hand, mark my words.
