a feast, because we all love feasts, don't we?
I don't. Especially not at the moment where one of the noblemen sitting there enjoying the food our cooks slave over (although really the soup was dreadful this evening) is one that is chasing afte my Guinevere.
I don't know his name of course...Guinevere won't tell me, I suppose she's wise not to. I don't think I could help having a... word or two with the man if I knew his name. But I swear I saw several men looking Guinevere's way tonight. But I suppose it could have just been a coincidence... they did seem rather blank, God knows that I looked blankly about the room a fair share of times this evening.
Just about the only upside to the whole evening was that Guinevere was close by serving the head table. She smelt lovely tonight...not that I you know...sniff Guinevere when she's near. Not deliberately I mean...but it's hard not to, it's so stuffy in the main room of the castle and when Guinevere is nearby there's the smell of fresh flowers - lavender I think it is. I think I'm allowed to enjoy it.
And of course I got to enjoy watching her, she really is amazingly graceful, although, I think should warn her not to...well...lean over so much when refilling goblets. Not that I'm looking particularly, I just noticed is all.
Why am I justifying myself to you anyway? You're not even a you, you're a book!
Right, that being the case I'm just going to finish this up...it's late, I'm exhausted...stupid crown always annoys me.
When I become King I'm going to relax the wearing crowns at feasts rule - it's a stupid one anyway, lean over too much at it falls off your head.
Ridiculous -
Yes...Father apparently decided to open the week before Yule with I don't. Especially not at the moment where one of the noblemen sitting there enjoying the food our cooks slave over (although really the soup was dreadful this evening) is one that is chasing afte my Guinevere.
