not_a_clotpole: (On Guard)
This multiverse thing has resulted in any number of bizarre encounters.

This evening's encounter requires him to accompany a small girl to the Forest of Balor just outside Camelot.

The sun had almost set by now and Arthur debated the wisdom of this.

The kid, Stephanie, was about to be deterred and no self-respecting person would allow a small child to wander into the forest unaccompanied, so here he was.

He could only hope that only deer and badger would be wandering around in the woods tonight.
not_a_clotpole: (Writing is Hard...)
I believe I've written about Father's decision to involve me more in the actual running of the kingdom. What this bascially means is I have to sit on council meetings and worse than that I actually have to read the papers that flood the aforementioned council every day. Wheat reports, farming reports, reports about the outlying villages. Reports on the guards (still an embarrassment to Camelot), the knights (not an embarrassment at all). Etc. etc. Perhaps this is why future!people have those democracy things...whoever was original in charge just couldn't take the boredom.

Morgana also remains elusive...I think she's going riding...obviously wants to keep her horse in shape so the knew one she gave me doesn't outclass her. Ha, it's nice to see she's trying. But this is really quite important, I think...Morgana's really only ever mentioned her father to me, I'm quite certain she'd want to know about her mother as well.

I shall have to track her down tomorrow, come Hell or high water...perhaps I can sneak into her room and steal her breakfast. Vegence calls!
