not_a_clotpole: (My Thinking Face)
I just want to give up on Council Meetings.

Even though they've been decidedly less painful since Uncle Agravaine arrived, if only because he seems to know about these sorts of things. Although even he can't convince Monmouth to keep it quick...

There's been more meetings than usual if only because it is a year since Father was rendered incapable of heading the council and according to previous records and laws, a regency has to be declared soon or the kingdom risks being considered without a ruler and open platter to anyone who cares to take it. To say nothing of what such a declaration will do for morale.

Uncle thinks it is time I signed the instrument of Regency and really he has a good point, but...

Guinevere and Gaius have been doing their best with Father, but they're not miracle workers.

I guess all I can do is prepare myself.
